Bullion Pricing Disclosure

We believe you should understand exactly how bullion prices work. This page explains the numbers you see on our site.

Last updated October 12, 2026

01What the spot price means

The spot price is the reference price for one troy ounce of metal in wholesale markets. It changes throughout the day. Physical bullion generally cannot be bought at the spot price.

02How product prices are built

A bullion product's price is made up of:

  • the value of the metal at the current spot price;
  • the product premium charged by the mint or wholesaler;
  • SPI Bullion's markup; and
  • applicable fulfillment costs, such as insured shipping.

Smaller products usually carry a higher premium per ounce than larger ones.

03Prices shown during early access

Product prices shown during early access are estimates based on recent market data and typical premiums. They are not offers. Once purchasing opens, your final price will be shown and locked for a short period before you confirm your order.

04Market data

Market prices on this site come from a third-party data provider and are updated periodically, so they may be delayed. They are provided for information only and may differ from final product prices.
